Hello All,
This is my first classic pro-touring project and I plan on hanging with you guys for a while. I already have my eye on another for a daily driver...

Welcome, nice ride you have there. What are the plans for the drivetrain?

Welcome! Always glad to have another Ford guy on the scene. I was admiring your fastback earlier this evening... very attractive. What's the full plan? Keep us posted.

The full plan is to make this car handle. I bought the car in December 2003. I have converted from 4spd to 5spd. I pulled the engine and got a 331 stroker built. $6500.00 later I have a very nice motor for the car. Now I need a g-force tranny. I have replaced the whole suspension. Got some global west to give me a real cornering attitude. I am kind of picky so the car is in the shop getting all the sheetmetal in the engine bay replaced. I did not like the welds from the PO. I also am getting a shelby rollbar installed and torque boxes added. I have done a lot of r model upgrades but I will not paint her like a clone. I want my car to have it's own character. I have 4 wheel disc brakes now but plan to upgrade to baer as time goes along. I have spent about $15,000 on my car in two years. I am trying to slow down a bit but once you get the fever it is hard to stop. I hope to have her back on the road this December. This project has been a blast and I look forward to buying a coupe and doing a EFI swap to make a cool daily driver...
