Call DSE and get one of their blueprinted AGR boxes. It is one of the better ones out there.

The DSE a blueprinted AGR? Aren't they new/rebuilt Saginaw or new 600 pieces?

I think so, but DSE has there own specs for the box from what I have been told. I am sure someone will step in here and verify.

Flaming River has a new Power Steering Box that is supposed to give you Rack performance but is NOT rack and pinion. Its a box. I am going with it. I hear GREAT things:

http://www.flaming-river.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=330/category_id=191/home_id=80/mode=prod/prd330.htm.

Pricey though. I think they are actually going to use it in PHRs G/28. You might want to hold off and see how it works out in the tests.

I think they were talking about a Group Purchase on http://www.gpsuperstore.com/

sorry to have to say this but that G28 is a joke it's nothing but a billboard for the magazine advertisers and now a days they would not tell you if something didn't work well anyhow I mean who the heck does this much suspension work without as much as putting on frame connectors

I am using the DSE 600 series in my TA and love it. To me it was well worth the money. Give it a look and I think it is real similar to the flaming river.

I have a box, pump, cooler & lines from an 85 TA WS6 car. I figured that is as good as I could get w/o big $$ for my 77 Z28.

Is that a good plan and do I need anything else?

Bonzo does the box have a Z stamped cast on the side of it? if so then yes its worth using. if not I would just find a WS6 box from a late second gen bird. it will bolt right in and be considerably better than a non WS6 cars steering.

I haven't looked. I know it was a 16" T/A with WS6 on the wheel caps I'll have to look. Thanks-

I have a quick ratio out of a 86 Monte SS in my 70, just had to change the pitman arm and hoses... it is like 2-1/4 turn lock to lock.
