Nice car and I love the colour. What is that colour as I'm shopping for a similar shade for mine?

Can you share some information about the windshield and rear window trim? I like that much more than the chrome on my car.

Silly to bring this up but i love what you did with the side vents on top. I've been looking for a something different but didnt like any of the ones currently floating out there, from the "Shelby's" to whatever else but yours is gnarly. Love them. can you elaborate on what was done?

Todd...Blazing Copper Metallic. It is a Ford color code GW/Orange Crush. I saw it on a Ford Edge and loved it.
Inline65..I made the glass trim from fiberglass. I cut the weatherstrip flush with the glass, masked it off and laid the glass. I did some looking around and could not find anything else that would work and look better than the original trim.
Rols574...thanks. Not a major change but just a little different. I removed the louvers and cut a piece of urethane foam to fit the opening and sanded and shaped it until I liked it. They are actually functional as air can enter the rear opening and vents inside car still work the same.
Here are some motor and Interior pics. Probably going to do a custom interior down the road, but o.k. for now. I did make a center console and NO I did not paint the steering wheel to match the color. It is a Grant Mahogany wheel that just happens to be very close.80817808188081980820

Guyt699 thanks! Here ya go. RRS 3-Link Rear, Mini Tubbed, Ron Morris Tubular front suspension, coil-overs front and rear, Sub Frame Connectors, SSBC Force 10 4-wheel disc. 11" slotted rotors front and rear, Ron Davis 3-core aluminum radiator w/twin electric fans, Top-Loader four speed, Hurst shifter, Stainless Tilt column, American Racing 17 X 9 1/2 front and 17 X 11 rear with 275/40's front and 315/35's rear.
Hand made parts include front air dam, rear valance, flares, upper and lower side scoops, windshield and rear glass trim, modified headlight buckets with custom grill, full inner fender liners with ducts and hood vents/heat extractors with louvers. Fender liners were made to protect wiring for engine compartment as it runs under both fenders and up to motor from underneath so all wiring hidden. All holes in engine compartment filled. Scoops/intakes in front air dam are functional and attach to fender liners with duct. Car is approx. 2 1/2" lower than stock. .40 over 289 with 285 RWHP and 3:55 rear gear.
Not built to race but as a toy to ride and drive nice and does it ever! With the 3-link and coil-overs and wide tires front and rear it handles great. 285RWHP doesn't seem like much, but at approx. 2,700 lbs. and the 3:55 gears and 4 speed........it's no slouch and it will do.

What did you use to paint your engine compartment with? I really like the look of it.

The engine compartment is painted with Dupli Color Textured Metallic Paint. The color is Graphite. It is only slightly textured. I went with this so I could touch up problems later as I plan on driving and using this car and it touches up easily.

65Project, headers are ceramic coated Tri-Y's. I made the console with carpet on the sides and lid top then added carbon fiber vinyl to the top. I then added the cup holders in the front of the shifter. I need cup holders.....and an ashtray for my cigar.
In time there will be more done to the interior but for now it's back together and driving and I'll do a little at a time. Thanks
