American auto wire. questions

OK guys bare with me here, I am in the middle of replacing the wiring harness on my 65 chevelle. I am using the American autowire kit and I am hooking everything up to the dash I am using one of covans dashes with autometer gauges. I am also using there wiringharness my problem now is that the covan gauge wiringharness has a extra connector that the AAW kit dose'nt have. Also some if the pins are in different spots of the plugs. I'll attach some pics so you guys can see. The plugs on the right are covan harness plugs and on the left is AAW plugs

I had to repin a few circuits on the AAW main harness side.

Looks like you need the male end of the 9 pin.

the 3 wire connector you have show is for the back of the gauge. That one looks to be the fuel gauge.

I have the male 9 pin connector it is coming off the main dash harness, if I leave the pins like they are now will it work or should I move the pins like Aaw has them on there 9pin connector? The only reason why I want to keep the covan harness is because it has actual plug connectors going to the gauges not cheap wire connector

I would leave the Covan harness in and as wired and just move the pins on the AAW connector side to match. Its pretty straight forward.

Double check the pins on the Covan side too. My ILL feed was swapped on the speedo connector. Just match to the lables on the gauge.
Also the headlamp switch connector was also miswired.

All easy fixes.

OK as I was looking at the engine wiring I noticed it says ecm power and ecm ign. So from my harness for my stand alone harness for the motor (lt1) can I just run those wires there? Also I has all the CASH deleted from the motor so I can just leave them unconnected? I addatched a pic of the diagram
