Wondered what your ideal setup ideas would be for a car like this. Just hunting ideas and trying to see where you guys would tweak and upgrade this type of car. Still a #s matching 350. But if you could do anything possible, what would it be

I'd make it a 69 2 door

What are your goals with the car? Lets see some pics.

My four door as it sits w some Cadillac rims that don't fit, long story there. I was thinking of stepping up the suspension and generally making it more reliable and comfortable. These are prior to putting the engine back in

Shave/flush/hide door handles, build it to turn with best of them, throw on some inexpensive wheels, Camaro/Vette/Firebird, use a custom pan for corner burning and drive it as much as possible. Make tuners curse the day you smokem on straight AND on/off ramps!

I like the idea. Working on getting new front suspension and disk brakes. Wanna shave the gutters too but kinda in between. Like it to look original but perform newish minus an expensive Ls swap

I'd get it on the road as cheap as I could and still be reliable...... drive it all summer!!

Seeing that you are in Cali, it be my daily driver.

I used to daily it. Blew a rear seal oh about 6 or 7 years ago. And so it sat in pieces because I thought oh ill just rebuild it. So easy right. Well I ended up doing it all myself minus the machine shop and I just took forever. But it runs now. Just need brakes wheels tires and off we go. Budget building blows. But I'll take it

Got a 71 Lemans 4dr, and what I was thinking was springs/sway bars, LS1 front brakes, I have a set of GTA wheels on it and lots of body work. Interior is actually really nice on it although it's a bench seat/3 on a tree car it has 3.23s in it. I bought a Hurst OE shifter for an SM326 and am debating putting it in or not. Trying to figure out how to make the bench seat more conducive to non straight-line racing as well. Lastly, I'm thinking about TBIing the stock 350 Pontiac engine just because they flow way more than a stock 2bbl, and I should pick a bit of mpg up out of it too. I already stuck HEI on it figure may as well finish modernizing it.

i had a 66 lemans 4-door parts car. i almost wanted to turn it into a daily driver too. if you shave all the door handles, at a quick glance you wont even notice. have fun with it!
