1965 gto hood mounting

I am aligning the sheet metal on my 65 gto to prepare for body work. My hood hardware that mounts the hinge to the hood was long gone when I purchased the car. I have the front end hardware kit from opgi. The kit has a set of bolts along with nuts that I would imagine would be for the hood. Is there a keeper that holds the nut in place or were carriage bolts the original hardware.

hood hinges for tempest,gto,cutlass are all the same should have a half inch bolt with tapered end and a built in washer.the bolts should mount to hood via speed clips.same as used for the mounting of inner fenders.

the hood hinge fastener kit comes with eight bolts all the same.
