Hello.
I have read through various sources that the rear axle housings for all the B-Body GM cars are the same and will bolt right up between
different decades (from the late 70s up in to the late 90s) B-Bodied cars.

However the wheel bolt pattern for a late model (94-96) Caprice for example have a 5x5 bolt pattern whereas an 80s Caprice has a 5x.4.75 bolt pattern
and from what I understand the pilot shaft is different too.

I would like to bolt up a 1994 rear B-Body axle to a 1984 B-Body so that I can keep the 4 wheel disk brakes, the limited slip and the 3.23 gears off the late model B-Body car.
But in order for me to maintain the 5x4.75 bolt pattern it seems I would have to get custom axles to have the correct spline count, bolt pattern and pilot shaft combination.

Would anyone know if GM made an axle shaft with the length I am looking for while also maintaining the needed 5x4.75 bolt pattern and the correct pilot shaft?

Thank you for any info you can provide me with.
