I have a rick / vaporworx tank for my el camino. I am looking at Teflon / ptfe hose for it. I am looking for some with the black braiding. I have to order every thing since there is no one up here that carries anything. from what I have found there is Pegasus 910 , earls ultra flex 650 hose and goodridge 825 & 910 hose. has anyone used any of it ? any feed back on it? any other I should look at? I do most of my ordering from summit because of the shipping if that helps.
2nd question is for 68-70 gm a body owners. how are you running the fuel line from the pass side to the drivers side. I am using the stock ls1 rail and want to use gto coil covers. would you suggest running a hardline on the firewall or something different? if you have any pics that would help also.
thanks in advance. cant what to get this thing running. not much summer left up here.

PTFE hose is expensive, no not run it the full length of the car. Use the stock metal lines or order new metal line from Inline Tube. Steel line can be ordered from Inline Tube up to 1/2 inch dia. Use the PTFE line for the connections .

Not that I have a ton of experience with the fuel lines, but I did just recently conduct a search of plumbing a fuel tank. I just installed a Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Tank, and plumber it with soft lines from the Tank to the core support where I mounter my regulator, and from the regulator to the engine. I did a search for fuel lines/fittings. Man so many choices out there, and opinions. The one I saw, and read the best info on is the one you have listed "Pegasus". I would have went with them but.....expensive. Even though I understand you get what you pay for. I ended up purchasing "PROseries black nylon 230 stainless core premium hose", by Redhorse Performance (http://www.rhp-usa.com/?product=230-04-1), as well as their fittings. The hose was extremely easy to assemble to the fittings, and route down the car. Prior to this I had no knowledge or experience with this product. Reason I decided is the performance shop here uses it on all their projects, and they have everything in stock, so I decided to try them. So far everything seems to be good, no leaks, and I have not smelled any gas from the lines (but that could be to so)on to tell.
I used Tech AFX they have the teflon which is carbon inpregnated for use with fuel and have all black fittings and black or stainless hose. Also light wieght hose.
I used it from front to back, by the time you bye ss hard line a bender flaring tool transitinal fittings you wont be any farther ahead and will have more potential for leaks.

I used Fragola PTFE hose. It's braided stainless with a black covering. Not quite a black braided, but you can still see the braids through it. It's fairly expensive, but I ordered custom length hoses with the ends crimped from the factory.

Goodridge has a PTFE hose with a black polyester outer braid. It's very flexible and easy to use, plus it has hose ends that you can assemble yourself at home. It's the only PTFE/poly hose with a non-crimp hose end on the market that I know of.
I'm so impressed with it that II Much Fabrication is getting set up to be a stocking dealer for the hose and related fittings and hose ends. Check with us or look at our website over the next couple of weeks.

thanks for the feedback and pics everyone. I am not planning on running it from the tank to the motor. I am going to run it from the tank to the oem hard line. then from the hard line in the front to the motor. so far I like the looks of the goodridge and Pegasus the best.

Brown & Miller racing solutions has excellent Teflon hose that makes really tight bends and can be assembled at home.

how much line are you guys using to get everything setup? I am thinking the goodridge 910 is the way to go. what about adaptors to the hardline?
