My car has new floors and truck, so I've been debating on what to coat the under side with. Any suggestions? I've looked at lizzard skin, but its kinda pricey if I buy both the heat and sound + gun.
my friend suggested a Berliner type material.
Any other suggestions of what you guys are running would be appreciated!
I plan on using dyna mat on the entire inside of the floors for sounds and heat control.

I went with 3M's Body Schutz rubberized undercoating. Takes a special gun, fortunately I've got a friend in the body work business that let me use his. Works great! Goes on easy too. I started with bare metal, acid primed that, sprayed the Body Schutz, then after about 3 weeks, I sprayed black Imron over that. looks really good.

I went cheap with the Rustoleum rubberized coating from Home Depot. 150 miles later and the underside still looks new. We'll see...

Thanks for the replies! I like this Second Skin product. Does the gun come with a 90 degree tip to make application easier for someone like me in my garage? Did a gallon cover the entire underside of your car?

My brother has been using Raptor liner on most everything that needs a tough durable even textured coating. We just sprayed it under a 65 Mustang and it looks great.

Given the build level and love so many lavish on their car why would you want to cover up the underside of your car?
Certainly not for rust. Very few of us will ever use their car again for a daily. I could understand for bad/iffy body work however that is rarely the case on this site. Sound deadening can be done from the inside of the car. There are plenty of "tough" paints to withstand the limited use most of our cars will enjoy. Most guys have spent HOUR'S removing previous undercoating.
Therefore my question:
Why is anybody undercoating their car?

I undercoated my car for two reasons
Protect panels from elements (Paint chips easily and lets rust in)
Cut down on heat (I have a supercharged LS3 with headers)
I used Lizard Skin Ceramic coating underneath, Sound Control on the interior
