Sounds like it will be a great course.
Why did the spc's not work out for you I have that same setup and very happy with it .

Car sat to low, had to use BBC springs. If it wasnt for my Super Comp headers it may have been fine. I'm pretty sure I gave Mark at SC&C a huge headache with my build, but he did everything to make it right.

No, Its called All American Hot Rod Showdown. Its a car show, drag race and autocross rolled into one weekend. The charge for the car show gets me in autocross for free so I figured what the hell.

After reading the details it says "The manufacture series events will work with local autcross clubs, SCCA and other experts in the field of autocross to offer participants the opportunity to challenge each other during the event" What ever that means lol

I figured that might be the case. I can relate I have an ls1 with spc small block springs with all spacers installed and I could not stand to go any lower.

I ran the autocross at Super Chevy at Gateway. I am sure this will be set up about the same. It was a fast course with a long right hand sweeper. I had a blast. I will be at this event also. I look forward to meeting you.

Great. Ill keep an eye out for you. I talked to them (Gateway) today and they said the car show is on the inside of the oval. So it should be easy to make some runs and get judged all the same day. Is that the way it was at Super Chevy show? I can't wait

It started before turn 4 on the road course & ended between turns 6 & 7. Your car looks nice. See you there.

Great time this past weekend. Got to meet Eric along with some other great guys. Made up a small video of my sad times lol. Had a best of 39.111 sec which was good enough for runner up in novice. Eric won advanced both days with a 31.??? both days. Good job. Anyways here is the video I made with 3 runs tied together

Man, that car is gorgeous with that white top and white interior...
Sounds like you had some fun out there, remember though a squealing tire is a happy tire!! :poke:
BTW, I bet you are a bit more than hooked on autocross now and suspension changes to speed the car up are next. :drive1:

Cool pics. It was a blast. The car count was not as good as we had hoped. We need to get more support or we may lose the autocross at these events. These are great events to get some seat time. The SCCA guys are very helpful when I asked for help with my driving.
