Noob here. Have a 72 GTO (24-25 years now) and finishing up 3rd make over. Most is done but would like to add a gear vendors OD to make things like PT more enjoyable. 461 CID stroker, SC&C stage 2 plus package with Hotchkis front springs (spc springs didn’t work out) Herb Adams sway bars, Vari Shocks, 17x9.5 all the way around with 285/40/17 on back and 275/40/17 on front, 373 out back with TH400. Baer Track 4 up fronts and TA disc in back. Finally it sports 04 GTO seats redone stock style with Phantom gauges.

Going to Gateway motor parks Aug 9-11 for a car show and auto x. Will be my first auto x so Im really looking forward to it. They have a inside track and use park of the oval. Any noobs tips would be great lol

Clean car to be auto Xing.....be prepared to hit a cone or 12....lol. Use blue painters tape behind front and rear tires if you don't want your paint to get messed up.

LOL ya I figure cars are meant to be driven. I'm pretty sure this is going to be on their permanent road course they have there. that being said I'm hopeful the cones will be at minimum. But then again it's my first time so I'm clueless. Thanks for the heads up though.
