so i used to play in a band called Left Of Center (dropped/was kicked out because im going to college and couldnt make it back for practices and gigs) but im still really good friends with them all and i figured i'd design them a tshirt to help raise cash for their first recording...i was just curious what you guys thought of my shirt idea. this would most likely be on the back.

any suggestions are appreciated!!

Cool shirt, do they have a web site, and let me know when the shirt is ready.

Please don’t take this as negative.

I’d suggest encouraging them to drop the Christian band label. Yes I am a Christian and I also am a fan of GOOD music and I rarely hear it through the Christian radio. Mostly they are jugged on how their JPM (Jesus’ per minute – this is an industry thing). I’d tell them to concentrate on the music they create and not worry about the people that they play to – that isn’t what it is about.

I agree , its better to be a band of christians than a christian band. No label just let your beliefs come through.

I am a heathen but I have nothing against christian bands.

Cool shirt, also.

yeah you guys are speakin right up my alley- i think they're limiting themselves to "preaching to the chior". bands like evanessence, pod, and creed have shown that religious music can reach huuuuge crowds if presented right....my vote doesnt really count any more though lol.

their website is leftofcentermusic.com. there should be some clips up on there within the week, so check back often.

i said good music. not creed....lol.

get 'em to make their own sound. if you sound the same as everyone else you'll blend in.

lol all i said was that creed showed the mainstream capability of religious music when presented right.

they DONT sound like creed. they are a bit derived still but they're getting more and more original.

I'm just glad they don't sound emo.
