So I am going to replace my lower ball joints and already have ram air restorations ball joint extender on the upper ball joint. The extender looks to be 1.5".
Anyway I am wondering to go ahead and replace the uppers with a .9" ball joint and get a .5" lower? Or keep the upper ball joint with the extender and keep the stock lower or go with the .5" lower?

Right now there is no noticeable negative camber gain looking at the tires turned, but the front is aligned to factory specs. Oh and this is with factory a-arms.

When you turn the wheels ... the spindle's KPI and the Caster setting you have in the front end come into play.

If you want to isolate how much camber gain you're getting, you need to leave the wheels straight & run the suspension through its expected travel.

If you want to see how much "dynamic camber" you have ... meaning with the suspension compressed & wheels turned to a degree you feel accurate ... then you're bringing camber gain, spindle KPI & caster all into play working together. You adjust on the caster to adjust dynamic camber.

Make sense?
