Hi new member,1970 rs,ss 396 5spd camaro

Hi, been a drag racer all my life looking to try pro touring now. I need some help with picking out the right tires for the car, 215/45-17 front and 275/40-17 rear. was thinking about Nitto 555. still want to drag race a little but also want to handle well. car is a five spd and has cal-tracs big block makes about 500hp on motor any help would be appreciated. that is a short tire. Did you mean a 245/45/17?

ya that's whats on the car now. its a 7" wheel I have noticed not as many choices in that size, was thinking about going to a 235. I wanted to use the drag radial out back and the 235 up front with the n555
