Tony G's 1970 Chevelle stands apart from the crowd, thanks to its original gold patina and 18 inch Forgeline DS3 wheels finished with Satin Gunmetal centers and Brushed outers. See more at: http://www.forgeline.com/customer_gallery_view.php?cvk=877

Really starting to change my stance on the 70 chevelles. Been a pro 66 for so long, but lately, I've seen some of the 70's with great stances that make me go hmmm :)

Mark, what is the backspacing and specific tire/wheels specs? I have a 72 Chevelle that I am looking to get a set for, but I want 20 inches on all 4 corners. Specifically, 20x8.5 or 9 and 20x10.5 or 11.

All the build are slightly different. Most of which is due to brakes, spindles or other aftermarket goodies. I would recommend that you fill out the wheel fitment sheet. This should supply us wth the information we need to build wheels that specifically fit your car. Here is a link to the wheel fitment sheet.

I understand. I just wanted to know for comparison's sake, as his setup appears similar to my own.

This will not be my first set of wheels for the Chevelle. I ran Intros and am currently running Billet Spec's now. I have used the same backspacing successfully for both sets and would stick with the same for the next set, as I know that it works with no clearance issues.

Again, just curious as to the difference in our setups.

Thanks, Mark.

Yup! I am running the identical BS front and rear. Only difference is that I have 20x8.5 and 20x10.

Thanks for getting that info, Mark!

If you haven't seen it lately, Tony G's Chevelle looks a little different these days. Here it is from his appearance in Super Chevy magazine. Tony G's 1970 Chevelle is the test and development mule for his company, ABC Performance. It's powered by 585HP small block 380ci stroker and Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed transmission. The chassis features a boxed frame, ABC crossmember, ABC front upper & lower control arms, splined swaybars, and Viking Performance coilovers. The rear features an ABC 4-link, ABC complete bolt-on coilover conversion, and full floater rear end from Strange Engineering. Wheel corners consist of Wilwood disc brakes (6 piston front calipers, 4 piston rear calipers, and 14 inch rotors) and 315/30ZR18 BFGoodrich g-force Rival tires on 18x10.5 & 18x11.0 Forgeline DS3 wheels.
