Well after living with 15" Rallys for year I finally got wheels. Lost many nights sleep thinking of just the right wheel for a near stock 69 SS. I landed on these from E/T. I ordered 17 x 9.5 and 17 x 8. Will be running a 245-45 and a 285-40 tire. They arrived today and they look even better than I imagined. I can't wait to get them mounted next week.

I have to agree with you.

Thanks. It won't be super accurate but I will weigh them before I mount them with the scale I use to ship stuff. Might be 1/2 lb off one way or the other.

Nice selection, you hit the nail on the head. Those wheels look great on stock-ish vehicles.

Thanks Nick. I got home late tonight and was to tired to mess with it but I had to unload them and get inside the shop for the night. Well needless to say once they were inside I got my second wind. Here are some crappy night time pics. Have not even driven yet to settle the suspension.

Those look great! It's nice to see some more people running 17's instead of the usual 18/19 combo. They just have enough bulge and sidewall to give it that vintage look, but are still able to run a modern tire and big brakes.

Looking good! I like the short caps on those wheels, changes up the look a bit. Looks like you nailed the offset, looks just perfect.
I dig the old 'Burby too, wish I had one like it!

HAHA to many irons in the fire to really work on this car now but in the future you never know.

I do like the short caps
as for the Suburban ^^^^ see where I mentioned irons in the fire. :hammer: I have drop kit, 5.3, and big in little ralleys sitting around the garage collecting dust for it some day.
That was sort of the purpose of the Camaro. Have something decent in its current form that I won't mess with too much. 60+hours at work , 2yo twins and a 7yo make time in the shop a rare occurance these days.

The wheels look great. I've been thinking going with those when I'm changing my TT2 wheels out. Do you know if those wheels clear C5 brakes?
Thanks.

Thanks.I would think so but not for sure
Couple daylight pics on the way to a car show today. Nose needs to come down about 1-1.5" and it will sit just right.
