Hello, my name is Rob. As the title says, I'm new to the whole pro touring world. I've always had an interest in going fast, and I love racing.
Unfortunately, I've never had the money to get into anything seriously. I've drag raced my daily drivers for fun, and I've taken some of them around tight twisty back roads, but I've never been able to get out on a road course
I'm currently deployed so I should have some money saved up after I get back stateside. I am trying to glean as much information as I can before I dive headlong into a build.
I have already selected the platform I am looking at working from. I am picking up an early 2nd gen firebird a soon as I get home. Mods will start shortly after that. Any advice, hints, tricks or anything at all welcomed.
