As of now, I'm currently using a stock LS1 F-body pan in my truck. Although adequate for street use, it's not necessarily optimal for hard cornering in auto-x/road course use. Also, due to my plug wire configuration, I can't use my dipstick. I saw a pan used on an LSx build on Horsepower TV a few months ago where they used a pan with a clear tube between fittings to see the oil level. That would be great, but they never mentioned what brand/type the pan was on the parts list from the show.

I'm open to suggestions.

Stick with the fbody oil pan, buy a baffle for it.improved racing.buy aftermarket dip stick.I'm running the autokraft oil pan with ls1 f body.I had the improved racing baffle on one of my ls1 oil pans and to be honest not much difference between both.
