Has your Optima battery seen extreme cold (left in the car during the winter)?
Gel cell batteries have a hard time with extreme cold and usually don’t last to long after sitting all winter long. That at least has been my experience in the past.
Sparky, I know you're from MI so I've got to ask - what do you define as "extreme cold"?
I doubt it spends much time below 30 here in Texas over the winter. Do I need to bring my Optima in once it gets cold out? Or is that only for those folks where "winter" is defined as "those other 10 months that aren't July or August"?
