What starter do I need? 5.7 Hemi & quicktime bell

Does anyone know what starter I need for a 5.7 Hemi, quicktime bell and a T-56? I asked QT and they pretty much said the stock starter, which I do not believe fits. I got a Hemi starter but no where near close, index size is way different

I used Mopar Performances' mini starter with QT bell and 6.1/4l65e

I had that mini starter and it will not fit. Here is the one I had

It had an index size of like 2.8 inches

My engine plate has a 2 inch hole for the starter

Yours is a passenger side mount, the Mopar mini is D-side. Try a factory Challenger/Charger/300 starter. I think that is what that bell is intended for?

Hmmmm, yeah that may fit. I have been really thinking about using this one because it will fit with my front driveshaft being where it is

Nothing else I can say other than you are right! I read your reply there and the other about the mopar mini starter. That is where I went wrong, thinking that you guys were talking about the same thing. I have sent that mopar mini starter back and today picked up one from a 300C, fits perfectly! Looking at the bell I had thought that there were 3 starter bolts and there are. Another good thing is that it fits into place with no interference from my front driveshaft. Thanks a lot Swinger. I too want this beast on the road
