4th Gen Disc on 1st Gen Firebird CNC Cutting my own brackets

Hey Everybody!
I'm doing an LS1 conversion on my 1967 Firebird using a 2000 Z28 as a donor car. I'm currently working on swapping the disc setup from the Z28 onto my car. I've looked at lots of the kits and even considered BRP's kit. However, I've got a CNC plasma cutter in my garage and I'm trying to cut as much of my own stuff as I can. I've looked around for templates, but I'm taking some measurements and I'm going to cut my own design.
If anybody has any measurements or templates that could help me that would be great, but more important is that my car wont be finished for a while. Therefore, I can cut my brackets and mount them up, but wont be able to do road trials for a while. If anybody is doin the same thing and has a running car, I'd be willin to cut a set of brackets for free for someone to try out on their car to shoot me a little feedback.

I started out tonight designing the brake conversion brackets from scratch.
I took some thin cardboard and a round headed hammer and made a template for the holes in the drum brake hubs. I used the ole trick with the round hammer head just like my Dad taught me how to make gaskets.78703

I took the cardboard over to my desk, took some measurements and came up with some geometry that seemed right.
Then I drew it up in Cadd and came up with this

Finally I printed it on paper to test fit. Hopefully tomorrow I'll load it into the cnc and see how well a real one fits.

So the I the Plasma cutter broke. Had to send it back for warranty. Supposed to get it back Tuesday and will cut the brackets. Also ordered an Eastwood powdercoating kit.
Going to try to powdercoat these brackets as long as the fit correctly.

Just a suggestion on your design, but eliminate the sharp corners on the inside profiles. If you put a fillet radius at those points, you'll not only get a much cleaner cut on your plasma, but you'll also stand a chance of deburring them as well. In my experience, what looks good in CAD doesn't necessarily look as good in person once manufactured depending on the design and manufacturing method.

I was going to add the shims behind the bearing race to center the hub on the calipers, but I think I'm just going to mill my brackets at the caliper bolt locations
