Hey guys, I've been reading about locating my battery to the trunk in a 67 camaro and it seems like most guys are using 1/0 Welding cable for the positive wire from starter to battery. But I noticed that QuickCar wire is only 2 AWG. I'm wanting to buy some wire tomorrow and wanted to make sure that 1/0 is what I should go with. I'm thinking about using RADAFLEX welding cable. Not sure if anyone has used it? If you have, is it pretty flexible?

I used Radiflex, I bought it online from Cable Yard.com It is very flexible and probably one of the highest quality cables made. I ordered 1/0 but itt was on backorder so I used 2/0. Check oout Madd Elecrical.com I ordered my battery relocation kit from him and the website has tons of information.

Normal parts store should have rolls of 2 awg or 1/0. I ran 1/0 and made ends myself. I have also ran 2awg with no issues, just bought a 25ft spool for $42 yesterday.

Kevin, 2/0 is thicker than 1/0, right? The 2/0 was still pretty flexible?

Thanks Justin, I check out the location parts store and see what they have.

2/0 is thicker than !/0, if you get on cableyard.com it will give you physical properties of all sizes and amperage ratings.
