I'm refinishing some 3 pcs wheels and had a couple questions thought maybe some of you might have answers too.

#1. What torque specifications would you use for the wheels fasteners (holds the face to rims), and would you recommend a thread locker? Loc-tite red? Blue? none? Dry torque?

#2 These were crudely re-sealed using regular old bathtub type clear silicone? Is there a better, more appropriate sealer for the rim halves than just plain old silicone? The previous set I did, did not need the halves split and used a HARDER? type of silicone or epoxy.

Thanks for the help on these questions.

I just put new inner barrels on a set of CCW 3 piece wheels. On their website there are a few videos showing the process. They called for 32 lb/ft on the ARP bolts that hold them together and GE 5000 clear silicone that I was able to buy at Home Depot. It really was pretty easy.
