I've done the search but didn't come up with anything that worked for me in terms of images. So, if you've got pics of how you mounted your computers under your dash or in your console in your first gen f body I would appreciate seeing them. Thinking back maybe I should have mounted them in the engine compartment but I didn't. Ironworks makes brackets but I haven't seen them mounted. So if you have pics, please post them or if there is a thread that has lots of pics and not just talk and you search better than I do could you please post it.
thanks
Scott

I have a custom center console so was able to mount it on the tunnel up near the firewall (not going to do you any good if you are running a stock or no console):

I also considered mount it under the dash just above the glove box. There's actually quite a bit of room up there, even with AC ducting. Might require building a custom bracket, but shouldn't be difficult. Should also be fairly accessible (just remove the glove box).

I know others have mounted them in their glove box, but I like the idea of actually having a functional glove box.

78220Used the Ironworks Bracket and trimmed it a bit and mounted it with some rubber isolator mounts. I know it is not under the dash, but the older I get, the more I hate crawling under the dash for any issues. The bracket was a nice piece and worked well.

My wiring is inside the car so that's why the fender is no longer an option but I have looked at that bracket.
