And I don't know what the exterior plans are, but I beg of you, please keep the full width front bumper on, or do a full Rally Sport conversion, nothing in between.... pleeaasseee!
HAHA, I am right there with ya on that one. I will do my best but they are looking at every single way of dropping weight on this car and I know the temptation to get rid of the full bumper will be there eventually.

We finally got back to work on the Camaro project the last few weeks.

We don't plan on making this car nearly as nice as the Mustang but we still cleaned the underbelly of most of the factory undercoating and years of gunk.

Here is the trans tunnel mount plate.

Back of the trans tunnel mount, The tunnel will be easy to remove.

Welded up most of the holes on the firewall. We debated on replacing it all together or just doing a cosmetic overlay.

Danny going to town on the trunk

Some of the parts came back from powdercoat.

Trans tunnel and 35 spline Currie axles

The bottom was sprayed with undercoating

Could this be reassembly? Say it ain't so.....

      Steering column firewall mount

They decided on doing an overlay

Downbars will be tied to the cage.

      Cage is finish welded

It is a 8 point technically since the firewall bars will tie into the front clip. It's not my personal car, it's owned by the company. I say 'Company' because Ed won't claim ownership of a Chevy.......LOL

We have good news. The new bullet arrived from Lingenfelter. It's a 644hp LS7. It made that power with factory C6 exhaust manifolds too so we're hoping it'll make 600 at the tires with a proper stepped header on it.

We set her back an inch or so.

Mocked up some 315/30/18's on an 11" wide wheel.

Awesome build! Seriously digging the tubular subframe! Looking forward to seeing the sale price. Do you guys do those builds just to verify/demo your prototype parts or do you do customer builds too?

It was just an over the counter spray(can) on liner.

Yes, we'll hopefully be testing the car before the Thunderhill optima event. Still lots to do though.

Progress slowed a little towards the end of the year but we're currently working on wiring and plumbing.
