factory timing for 69 charger

friend of mine has a 69 charger with a 383 magnum we're trying to get running. got a new distributor, carburetor, and starter. it doesn't want to stay idling and i feel like it's a timing issue.



does anyone know what the factory timing is?

I don't, but most cars are 6 to 8 degrees, later smog cars used 4.
