      Looking for....

Any thoughts advice etc. I am planning on getting a Morrison Max G chassis for my '70 Camaro. I have some choices with the rear axle and was wondering if someone would explain what width I should get. I would like to mini tub it and run 355 tires in back so not sure if I should keep the stock width or go shorter etc.

Any other thoughts or questions for me are welcome.

I do not plan on doing any serious road racing with this. It will be a street driven car. I will not rule out running it at a track in the future but I would still like to make it handle very very well.

      Looking forward to dialogue.

      Zach

I would go somewhat narrower than stock on the rear end. Either Morrison, or another member here could recommend that width. My guess would be to narrow it 2” per side. On a 12 or 13” wide wheel it doesn’t look right if it does not have enough dish. My preference would be to have the backspace roughly half of the wheel width. For example a 12” wide wheel with 6” backspace. Again this is totally personal preference.
