Yes, it's the same as the 1st Gen rack.

We're a week away from the Super Chevy Handling Challenge but we're trying to get some paint on the car anyway. The same guys that painted our Mustang (Danny's Paint Shop) are working overtime to get this thing finished in time.

Less than 24 hours until the Handling Challenge and the car is one solid color again. Ed put in work over the weekend while Sal, Evan and I were in Pleasanton.

I'm still editing videos from the Super Chevy Muscle Car Challenge but here are some pics of project RedDawn.

I had a chance to ride in Rupp's Chevelle Wagon during the parade laps.

There are a few cars missing from this photo. CPP's silver 2nd Gen Camaro, Red Chevelle, Speedtech's '69 Camaro, the other Z06 and the baseline car

Here is the scoreboard. I believe we finished in 6th place but I haven't seen official numbers yet. We were very excited to see Tim Lee's Camaro place 1st in the 100 Yard Dash. That car has our 4-Link and Custom IFS.

Last thing to do was the photo shoot at the T.E.N. headquarters in Santa Ana.

A couple more track events for #ProjectRedDawn

NMCA Autocross - Sal had his hands full with all this power and a 140 degree track surface.

Sal also ran the Extreme Speed event with Redline Time Attack and picked up nearly 5 seconds from the Super Chevy event lap times.

That is awesome! Glad to see it on the track tearing up some tires. What times were you running on the Auto-x course? Looks like it was the same course that I ran that weekend. Hopefully I get to see you guys at the next event!

Same course, same weekend. His best on Sunday running it counter clockwise was a 49.7. He's normally within a tenth or 3 of Chad but not this time, Chad ran away with it on Sunday. We'll be at the next one with Evan's Nova and Ed's Mustang. Sal's sitting that event out so RedDawn won't be there.

Sweet. Hope to see you guys out there next time. Will you yourself be there? My best time on Sunday was a 48.6. I will be sure to check out the Nova and Mustang this time! Sad I missed the Camaro though. Its my favorite!

      Very nice car!
What bonnet is that? (sorry if you've mentioned it already).
And also, I want to go black rubber around the windows rather than chrome, so where do I buy the rubber kit from?
      Thanks

It is from Carbon Kustoms. The window trim is factory stainless just powdercoated matte black.

A few people have mentioned Carbon Kustoms
And perhaps I shouldn't have just sold my window trim...

Is red dawn running the factory sway bar? With 315's upfront, I assume something needed to get modified.

It has a standard production bar. The inner panels had to be modified to fit it though.
