I'm in for Saturday and Sunday.

Hopefully more people will be interested in the drag portion so we can get a lot of runs in the autocross!!!!

I've been planning for 4 monthson making this event. Now with 3 days of rain and owning a lawn care business it is likely not happening. Hopefully a maricle happens and we can leave Thursday night.

Pray for more rain so that you don't have to mow! The forecast in ATL. looks dry, so load up and come down.

Well after debating do or don't, driving 17 hours with 1.5 hours of sleep and arriving at 10:00am Friday; it has paid some rewards. Friday night Chevy Hogh Performance did a photo shoot for a feature on the Monte. Then Saturday with a lot of thanks to Brian Finch, what a class act, I won the eliminations rounds besting Deb McGliton 2 out of three. Very close to the finish with me winning the first, her the second, and then she went off course handing me the win. Thanks to Jet Hot for sponsoring the autocross.

What did Brian do? He handed the win to Deb in the semifinals after dominating the course all day. His times where over 3 seconds faster than mine.

Man anyone who missed this event, missed alot.

This was primarily a Drag event.
It was probably a 50 to 1 Drag car to Autocross car ratio.
There were maybe 20 cars doing the autocross, around 8 or less going at any time.
There was at most a 6-8 min wait to go.

I got 18 videos, and I only recorded about half of them.
5 Dragstrip runs. Got kicked out of one drag run because I had shorts on......
I used 3/4 tank of gas, and left about 1/4" of KDW rubber down there.

Go to hang out with lots of PT guys........
Met Dan Howe....Mister Long Haul, Brent Walker, and Sparky R&D.

      Great event.
Should have some good videos today or tomorrow.

Now I'm even more sad I wasn't able to come. Especially since it was 30 miles away. It was just bad timing and I've GOT to get this damn truck running right again.
