2013{{{NEXT EVENT Aug 17,18,Sept 22 Oct 19,20 27 Novice school...Nov3,16,17 Dec 7 Don't sit on your couch come on down!)))).We have 25+ autocross days a year.I.'m not going to post threads for each of our dates ,Just too many for that..Plenty of info at the Main thread San Diego AUTOCROSS.If you haven't noticed that thread and you are willing to drive to San Diego to autocross .Then You Must Check it out.

If you have any questions ask them here or at thread San Diego Autocross. Most cars off this site run in SM (Street Modified class) other choices are SU (Street Unlimited) class and also ESP (E-Street Prepared) even CP (C Prepared)

Just a week away now! The Saturday practice day, signup is full....Sunday's Championship and Practice is open to any that show up that day .No Preregistration! on Sundays .You signup day of the event. registration closes at 11:30am.If you choose to run with most of the other Muscle cars off this site then run as SM or SU.That way you will run together.Be there by 10am or earlier to run in SU or SM.Any later and you will be RUSHED and CONFUSED.Registration opens at 7:30 am.Your car will have to pass a safety check and you will have to walk the course.Preparing to take your laps takes a relaxed 60 minutes plus.Best not be rushed. Plus working the course takes 45 minutes plus.So close to 2 hours in preparing.Working the course can be a fun learning experience.Many enjoy doing it before their runs.

SM & SU classed cars run their cars in RUN GROUP 5 and work 4th Group after lunch break..5th run group is the last run group of the day and you will get your 4 laps in about 50 minutes time. Then FUN Runs will start Thats 3 LAPS FOR 5.00 Dollars.This is when you can turn a Championship day into a better value then a Practice day.TIME PERMITTING.!

IF ESP class is your class schedule is revers.Run 4th work 5th group.

SU(Street Unlimited) allows more more mods then SM.But they aren't much different.Just in SU you have to mix it up with 2 seaters.

To run without being in a class is called X-runs.But we still need to know your class for DATA entry. Examply SM-X, ESP-X .SU-X So if you have to know your class you mind as well run in it and make friends with you competitors.We are here to have fun in a common interest in cars and driving. WE all love sharing info and advice.Best folks to talk to are guys with similier cars.You can run at anytime in the day if you run X.That would be the only reason to do it for me.


LOOKING FORWARD to seeing some new Muscle cars joining us! DOWNSIDE we have a noise restriction with our agreement with Qualcomm stadium..93 DB 50ft from the course you are given warnings at 91 DB.So having a backup plan of SUPERTRAPP TailPipes could keep you running.Just in case..! Cars HITTING 93 DB will not get a second run unless they show they made a change.That change has to happen quickly


One more thing.The Saturday practice course won't be the same as Sundays course.We change it to keep it fare for those that didn't run Saturday .The course will be half mile plus with Elevation changes.The track isn't overlaped but one full course roughly 60 to 70 seconds.

Matt was one of several new Muscle car guys to run with us june 2. You did a great job in you 69 Camaro Matt! First in Street Unlimited Class If there was just one more car running in that class you would of got a trophy.There will be more action photos soon..

Matt wasn't the only winner off PT site Tom K won ESP in his 69 Cuda and there was enough cars to trophy.

Update Schedule is now out for last 6 months of 2013, 13 more days have been added. 2 at end of june makes 15. 1 in july, 4 in august, 1 in sept,. 2 in oct, 3 in Nov, 1 in Dec
all at QUALCOMM stadium.

UPDATE..It was a good event for the PT guys...more info at the SAN DIEGO AUTOCROSS THREAD. The THREAD for autocross for whats within a drive of San Diego and for those that want to make the drive to race San Diego.

Next event july 21 QUALCOMM stadium San Diego free to visit and watch.

Come visit us at Qualcomm stadium sometime and we will have you on the track before you have a second excuse. We had 168 entries aug 18th competition day.Competition class is a option on sundays


UPDATE::: Last event of the year is Dec 7th Saturday ,I think that was 15 weekends of events this year. Half of them 2 days.All at Qualcomm Stadium.The Vintage Muscle Cars will be running in the morning.So be there at 7:30 am, signup for Class Street Unlimited (SU).You can run afternoon you just won't be in the large group of VM PT.ASk questions here or at the other San Diego threads on this site.
