      OLOA Day 2 Talladega GPR

I managed to make it out to the OLOA event for the second session at Talladega GPR. I had the pleasure of meeting James, Mary, Carl and Jimi and got to see their cars along with the rest of the field. It was cool to walk around at the paddock and see some of these cars before they hit the track.
      Some observations:
-The AMXess car is a really cool piece of machinery and it looks great.
-The HFC looked great with the new hood and front valence.
-The OLC update is awesome and it looks great at speed. The wing really looks cool.
-The DSE car actually does sound as good as everybody had said
      -GTR's are blazing fast
-The Mercedes SLS sounds like a jet fighter at speed.

I am mud free. Consider it a memento from my home state. Have fun guys, look forward to seeing future updates. It was really cool to see some Pro-touring cars at speed and up close.

Best of luck going forward. I am sure that it is an adventure of a lifetime or for the guy running the 81 Camaro 23 lifetimes and counting. It was fun to hear his stories about all of the breakdowns and late night thrashes year to year.

It was at the Talladega grand Prix raceway. It is a small road course that I think is more set up for motorcycles. It was actually on the same day as the 500 at the superspeedway but the tracks are probably twenty miles a part and not affiliated.

This particular track is affectionately known as "Little Tally" or "Little Talladega." It's almost entirely flat and designed more for motorcycles than for racing cars. It's perfect for the individual hot lapping part of the One Lap format.

So glad you came out and it will be a couple of years before Brock Yates, Jr. has us going back again. It's rare that he uses the same track two years in a row.

Alright thanks, guess I will keep up with the schedule better next time.

Its a small course and you really need good brakes out there, I have had some boil the fluid by the 4th lap and was in a bmw when the Brembos failed
