      Shafiroff, ATK, Reher Morrison

Who would you buy a performance big block chevy crate from?
I have been researching until I am dizzy!
I want to have the meanest thing at the stop light and the finish line!
I am hearing a lot of bad things as well as good about everyone, but only good about reher morrison so I am leaning towards them.

I agree with Rocketman, but I don't think anything Sonny builds is streetable.

      Edit ...
I was incorrect ... Sonny Leonard does build a streetable version of his Mountain Motors.

I would continue forum searches to find people who actually own street engines from the builders and talk with them. I have been extremely disappointed from some major brand stuff with lots of hype only to find it performed less than ideal. I talk to people with the product before buying anything these days. Customer service figures in huge as well.

A shop local to me, Shaw & Son's Machine, build some very bad ass BBC engines. Otherwise I'd suggest Buck Racing Engines, or BES

This was who I was looking at when I was gonna go BBC. Definitely got some good reputations on Chevelles.com and Camaros.net.
