      Which engine should I choose?

Im hoping to do a restoration project on a 1968 Pontiac Tempest or 1972 Buick Skylark.
The 1968 Pontiac Tempest is an inline 6 and the 1972 Buick Skylark is a stock 350 v8.

Im not sure which one I will choose, but Im wondering should I rebuild each engine or swap them for a Hemi engine.

If I choose the swap, is it difficult since neither car is a Mopar.

The most difficult aspect will be motor mounts. Also since the heads are very wide, there may be other mods.
If you run a GM trans there are adapter plates available for the Hemi.

Interesting choice of engine swap though.... Are you thinking an old or new Hemi?

Im thinking of a newer hemi. The prices on LS engines are ridiculous.
I may also consider the escalade or ss silverado.

      I am installing a 2009 Escalade L92/6l80 in my 1965 Skylark.

Can you weld? If so any option is do-able. I'd think you'd want to pay attention to header clearance, oil pan clearance, and accessory clearance as priorities.
