      Muscle Car Road Racing

      Guys,

I have put a lot of time, energy, and money into making my 69 GTO pro touing race car. I am dying to get the car on a road course and race against other muscle cars. Where can I do this? What clubs offer muscle car road racing. I am an SCCA member but they are racing modern cars. Is there a club out there that road races / track races muscle cars?

John, Look in the very section you are posting in, the first Sticky. NASA Vintage racing. This is door to door racing if that is what you seek.

Well I contacted NASA and it looks like the Vintage Outlaw class is the way to go. Signing up for the HPDE Program in April

I also contacted American Street Car series and will be joining them in South Carolina in April.

      Thanks a lot guys.

Although you went about it a bit backwards (I usually build a car to fit the rules instead of finding a rule class where the car may fit), good luck with the new habit. More classics need to be racing.

A good rollcage is always a good idea in Wheel to Wheel amateur/vintage racing.
