Help deciding between 2 brake setups

      Guys,

I am new to the performance front disc brake market. I want to replace my stock front disc brakes with a set of high performance Wilwoods. I have 17 inch wheels and the 2 options the wilwood website gives me are below. Not really sure what the pros and cons are of each setup. It looks like one setup is a 2 piece rotor and one is a 1 piece rotor, not sure. I am looking to set the car up for autocross and road race, street legal category of course.

Well, you already noted the primary difference between those two kits as the rotors. A two-piece rotor will be the lighter and slightly higher performance option of the two, but more expensive up front. The 1-piece rotor kit is heavier, but costs about $400 less. Either should work very well for your application, so which fits your budget better? Also, if you haven't already, you should confirm that your application can accommodate the +3/8" increase in track width per side associated with those kits.
