Block has a BOP and chevy bold patern. so no problem using chevy transmissions!!.
Block is made in the same foundery as the Donevan blocks...... its predesesor the IA I was tested at 2800 hp!!. anyway here are the(custom 4,35 bore) pistons pictures.
they are termaly coated on the top, teflon on the sides and another one against oil pick up inside.
we bought the Billet crank from the record breaking Engine from Dirty Bird who till last year was the fastest pontiac out there so we DO have a piece of history in the engine..
The rods are armor all treated (pictures dont do justice to the treadmend) and the crank wil be undergoing a REM treadmend. coated barings as well. the cumbustion chambers will be termal coated as wel we want the best bang we can get!! altho the comp wil be at 10.5 with the coating on the pistons and chambers the engine will react as if it is a higher compression.
the cam will be treated with a special slick stuf as wel to run smoother.
Al this wil make the engine need about 7 tp 10 min longer to heat up . But it proves it wil have less internal drag/ friction witch wil make the engine last longer and can take more abuse.
We FINALY going to put the variable Rocker system known as Vary lift to use (have it for years now). with this system we can get a 5000 rpm torque curve, as the rockers wil have a 1.18 ration below 3500 rpm and wil swtch to 1,67 ratio above 3500 rpm. ...

Good luck with the trans choices. There only a few that can really handle your goals. The Jerico's/G-Force and Liberty are lighter and handle more than the t56's. From what I've read and people I've talked to they are less expensive to maintain. I chose a G-force 101a 4speed. It's a used nascar style box rebuilt with gears of your choice, its rated at 1000hp and not much bigger than the m20. The deciding factor for me was gear material/size and long term maintenance.
