I couldnt be happier with 43rd. This was my first event. I didnt know a damn thing about pro-touring when I started building this car. There are some things I wish I had done different but for my first event, Im very happy with it. I had so much fun. I know how to better my times at my next event....hopefully GG Charlotte.

I knew I would be in last place, but almost 4 seconds slower than the person in front of me and almost 11 seconds from the leader is alot! This was my first time on a long, fast course like this though. My only other experience was at Goodguys, and that was with a bad motor. I definetly learned alot, and wish I could have gotten a spot in Friday's school. I now know what I need to improve on.

Most of all, though, I had alot of fun!! I knew I wouldn't be competitive going into it, so I did what I could, learned alot and had fun doing it.

What a great event....I am also happy with placing 39th with my little gen1 350 and lack of experience...
39 was also my car #....Maybe I should ask for a lower # next year ...Probably wouldn't help though...

It was great meeting all of you and seeing some of you again.... Special thanks to all those involved that made this happen and giving us a place to abuse our cars...And trucks

Was really surprised I finished 25th for my first time. I need more seat time... just not much around here. Charlotte is just a bit too far. TN was a haul- we drove well over 1000 miles throughout the trip. OK so we ran thru the Smokeys a few times & the blue ridge parkway, but its still nearly 8hr drive each way. Will do it again next year for sure. I learned so much.. looking forward to next event. Scott
