A Trio of Southern California Companies Headline The Super Chevy Show Autocross at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Total Cost Involved, Currie Enterprises and Camaro5.com have become official sponsors of the Super Chevy Show autocross event being held at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Super Chevy Show in Las Vegas at Motor Speedway September 14th-16th. Participants will be able to bring their Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, Corvettes etc., and compete against each other to see who will take home the honor of being the quickest and fastest on the Autocross course in each respective class. So, if you are looking for some fun in the sun with your Chevy come on down and rip it up with us.

Who: Open to amateur and competitive Autocross participants

What: Super Chevy Show Autocross

When: Saturday & Sunday, September 15 & 16

Where: Super Chevy Show - The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

How Much: $40 for the car & driver, also includes entry to a judged Car Show class. Reciprocal is true – Car Show participants get to Autocross at no additional fee

Course: Closed course typically set-up for cars to run in the 35-second range

Times: Competition each day Saturday and Sunday; course open 9:00am – 3:30pm

Classes: Novice, Open, and Ladies Classes

Awards: Given out at the end of each day of competition (Sat & Sun) in the Awards tent

Publicity: Super Chevy Show Editors will be on site for Autocross event coverage, results, and
highlights to appear at www.superchevy.com and in Super Chevy magazine

Safety: Helmet (open or closed face required), and seat belts for driver and passenger. Must be
a minimum of 16 years old. If 16-18 yrs. old, parental consent required

Tires: Must meet 200 UTQG tread wear rating and above

Vehicle: All Chevy bodied or Chevy powered; Recommended pre-event inspection includes secured battery tie-down, removal of loose objects in the car or trunk, check of all proper fluid levels, no leaks or worn out belts or hoses.

We've got those new Toyo 200 Treadwear tires but the sizes are 265 & 295 so it'll be interesting to see how they do.
