      Dz 372

Hey guys. I wanted to start a thread on my project for this year. I want to pull the original 302 in my car for detailing/re-sealing, so I figured I'd have a little fun with it during the process. I've got a 372ci small block that has been built like a 302 on steroids with 13.5:1 compression and a big solid roller. My plan is to put the 372 into the Camaro with an Auto Gear M23W transmission. I also plan to add a DSE power steering box and upgrade the stock seating and gauges. I won't be changing anything that can't easily be changed back. Here are a few pics. Updates to follow.

It's from March Performance. I modified the alternator bracket to work with the CS130 alternator.

I’m excited to tell you that a new episode of the TV show CAR FIX will premiere this Saturday, March 28th at 11am eastern on the Velocity Channel. As part of the episode, hosts Jared and Lou perform a beautiful job swapping a new engine and transmission into my ’69 Z28. We also have some fun racing a C7 Corvette Stingray at an Ocala, FL airstrip.

Due to some recent health challenges, what makes this show so important to me is that the producer allowed us to incorporate a very special message to viewers about the importance of taking care of themselves. My hope is that these efforts will help create a new avenue of hope and awareness for people on a broad scale.

I would like to thank the numerous people and businesses that assisted with their services and expertise to make this project a success, including AED Performance, Auto Gear, Brenton Productions, Engine Lab, Holley Performance Products, Magnaflow, Marja Blitz, NBS Fabrication, Nelson Competition, Ron Davis Radiators, United Speed World and Wannagofast.

The show is also scheduled to air on Sunday, March 29th at 11am eastern, Friday, April 3rd at 7pm eastern and then periodically throughout the year.

I hope you enjoy the show!
