      I just gotta ask. What happens when the cars don't make it through the loop? Do they run of one side or the other or do they fall off the top of the loop? I know how the Hot Wheels crash just curious if the real cars crash the same ways.

      There's a target mph speed they shoot for. I think it's between 48-52 mph but don't hold me to this. If the entering speed is at the target and you keep the steering straight, all should be well ...

      Very much the same way. They did crash, and surprisingly often. That crane pic is from the teardown, it looked different when they were using it.
