yes sir. I actually like the look of the two screws on the back

If you look closely at this pic you can see my window felt by looking in the mirror

Here is where i had to pull them in to see. If i had a 68 or 69 i would have moved the mirrors closer to the fender

      Iceman,
The mirrors should work in the factory locations. We tried different
mounting positions during development and found that it didn't make
any difference front or back from the factory mounting point. It is the
Patented Design of the mirror & base that Eliminates the Blind Spot.
Can you send us some pictures of your Camaro
of the seat belts & mirrors so we
can put it on our web page?
      Thx, Billy

I have spent several months researching the best possible mirror to use on my '67 Camaro. I was planning on using 2nd gen mirrors until i realized how small and useless they are. 4th and 5th gen Camaro are too big and the profile does not match the car. I then decided to look into the GT3 mirrors from APR. The housing is first class carbon fiber, but did not realize how small these mirrors are. They measure 5.5" by 2.5". The grub screw on the base has limited adjustability since it is mainly designed to keep the mirror in place without further adjustment. Other than that the mirrors look awesome on the car, but have not decided if I should keep them or not. I mean how hard should it be to design a manual adjust, functional mirror. This has been really frustrating. Ideally I want to see a 5.5" x 3.5" mirror in a carbon fiber shell that can be adjusted manually and stays in place. That would be awesome.
