FS: Lateral Dynamics 2nd Gen Prototype Front Coilover Brackets

I whittled these away from Mark some time ago and am not going to use them. Ended up going down a different path. To my knowledge, there were only two sets of these brackets made. The first two pics posted are from Lateral Dynamics and show the rest of the setup that never was to be... These were made to slip right in between the uprights and then be welded in. These would make the perfect companion for a second gen owner with an LD three link out back. I am asking 200 obo for the pair. These have been sitting on my shelf for some time and I just thought someone could put these to good use. Parts are located in Pittsburgh, PA.

These should work with any coilover. I have 1/2" DOM tubing that Lateral Dynamics included for the other half of the spacer. I began test fitting these and the bottom plates were probably going to need to be touched up to slip in, but Mark advised me that would be the case. That was done intentionally for variations from subframe to subframe. So yes, once you slip these in, weld the exposed perimeter. You would also want to weld them to the vertical surface where the cross shaft mounts.

I really do not know. As pictured, LD was planning on making their own control arms. These were in a way copied off of the Chicane-LM brackets that ATS developed for the first gens, and that Speedtech now sells. I run Hotchkis arms and based on my measurements, I would have had to clearance the arm slightly. I would guess that the Speedtech arms have a good shot at clearing them.

I got a pair of uppers and almost got a pair of lowers......almost.

LOVE the caster adjustment setup on his uppers. Sad they never came to production. Thanks a bunch for the pics Dave!
