LS Dynatech Headers fitment problems with Street and Performance crossmember

      Car: 1968 Camaro
      Engine: LS2
      Transmission: T-56
      Headers: Dynatech
      Crossmember:S&P
      Motor mount plates: S&P

Well the headers just came in and look awesome, I bolted them up to the engine no problem and proceed to put on the reducers and the transmission cross member is almost smack in the middle of the way. My question is how to I go about fixing this? My driveline angles are all correct so I really don't want to replace the crossmember but I feel that's the only way to fix this issue. Most of the other crossmembers I see offer an additional 2" of clearance or more near the sub frame rails then dip down at the transmission mount point. I looked into an oval transitional piece but I still won't clear it. Any alternatives for fixing this? As always thanks for the input!

2 options at this point...change your cross member or have a muffler shop do a bend to go over the cross member.

I find that modding the stock crossmember gives the most clearance !

You could get a round to oval transition and go under the cross member with oval tube.
