Its been a while, but alot has happened. Maybe not to the truck, but future plans will soon be happening.

I packed up and left CT, i moved to New Hampshire where its even colder, and tucked the ol' girl away into my barn on a nice piece of property i bought. I now work as an engineer for Whelen Engineering (LED lighting for municiple, aerospace, and consumer)

Congrats on the new job and barn purchase, did it come with a house? Looks like the dent is already gone, didn't notice it, besides it just adds character!

Yeah that would be cool we should organize a New England (and whoever wants to travel) pro-touring.com get together. I didn't see a Goodguys show on the calendar for 2016, but I'm sure we could figure something out. Not sure when the GTO will be road worthy but it would help motivate me, and I could always trailer it to get some good feedback and tips from you guys.

personally i feel good guys is alot of dudes that have alot of money and no jobs and can follow the tour around. i want to get some heavy seat time in, and have my buddy who races lamborghinis (spelling) to ride along and push the crap out of it. I went with Ron Suttons advice and bought a detroit locker, and i am building my 35 spline ford 9" now. Moser Pro shafts, lightened, aluminum throughbolt strange HD 3.25 housing with 4:10's .. I figure its about time to really push this thing and not in a straight line

      .

      Great looking build!

Any updates or fresh pics of this one?

Tried looking up your Instagram per your signature block, but couldn't find it. Can you post a direct link to it if there are fresh pics there?

So in 2016 i drove it a bunch, then decided that i needed a shop because i lose my mind if i cant work. Especially in rural NH
So this is the c10 with 1650lbs of concrete in the bed

One of many lumber yard trips

2 sets of QA1 shocks, and an optima battery that never worked well, I parked it in march of 2017 and focused on the barn and getting my shop set up.

      So heres where we are:

Shocks are getting replaced with Fox 2.0's
Battery is going to an off the shelf unit
Paxton supercharger has 700 miles since rebuild and is leaking oil out of the seal, Vortech wont warranty it because its been over a year since it was rebuilt.

      408 forged stroker
      Fox Shocks
Ripping the bed apart to lighten it and fix the sending unit
Ditching the compressor/tank and going with a nitrogen setup
      Dynamat and wrap the exhaust
      Paint

What's the point of a truck with 600hp I'd it can't haul some weight!

      agreed 100%

it's funny because today a buddy of mine & I were talking and I told him how much i miss my black Sonoma GT. You know the one that I actually drove and had a blast with. I wish I would have never sold that truck. Looks like I will be looking for another one one day.

I am glad your driving your and and actually using it...that is really cool and the best part of this build.

Update: finished a bunch of work including dozens of parts for vette427sbc''s c3 build which is turning out absolutely sick. Between Chris and my ideas bouncing off each other he's coming up with a wild 69' vette build.

Today I had full motivation to get my shocks mounted. As soon as I got down to the barn, a 60mph squall raged though and killed the power. I started my generator, disconnected my main and fed my lights and an angle grinder and went to town. During this I removed the tank that is requiring extra ventalation as I have fill issues. I also wanted to get every drop of 2 year old gas out. So I flushed the A1000 and cleaned my 100 micron filter and ordered a new 10 micron filter for the post pump. I also got a new air filter ordered because the screening has some fraying, as well as a 269 racing steam vent kit for my new 408 stroker being built by BTK power, who has numerous records in race engines in all of new england. I got my Paxton back fully rebuilt and had all of my brackets and pulleys anodized black. You'll see more of those goodies down the line. I'm keeping my compressor set up for now and going to make some temp fenders for the bed. I need to drive it 3rd week of July to new jersey, ct, then back to new hampshire. Wish me luck. Pics to come tomorrow's

Shock mock up with power running from generator

      Supercharger assembled after rebuild

Exide battery to replace the optima, expecting much better results

Shock Res mounts, still have to separate the caps

And here is the rear hub for Chris's "love 69 - vette build" go check it out
