      1984 ltd lx turbo!

This link was posted on foureyepride.com which is a Mustang site.

To a degree some late model "Pro-Touring". A lot of neat work done on a car that is not mainstream at all. The car looks great, he says if fun to drive and handles great.

I like to see cars like this where people put exceptional work into a not very popular car.

      Enjoy!

Thats good stuff! I like building the less common stuff and I sure enjoy seeing projects like this.
I am not useless, I can still be used as a bad example!

I believe those LTDs were basically a Fox platform, so everything from a Mustang will work. Neat car. I bet you can find clean ones for almost nothing. Thanks for posting.

They are a "stretched" Fox Platform so yes many Foxbody parts will bolt on LTD's.

The basic four Door LTD's are easy to find CHEAP and were also available in a police package.

The LTD LX cars were only made in 1984-1985 in very limited numbers and are somewhat hard to find and desirable to this bunch. Quite a number of upgrades including gauges, buckets, consoles, better suspension and more in the "LX" package.

Very sweet....and subtle ! I love Foxes and really like this one. It get's those wheels spinning, which may not be a good thing. I'd love to do a boxtop (2 door post) Fairmont with '04 Cobra IRS, good front susp & brakes, and a healthy windsor !!

I bought a brand new LTD LX 5.0 back in '84. IIRC car came with 185 hp. Good to see people still appreciate their uniqueness.
