68 Camaro: Converting to Pro Touring

Hi! My name is Will. I am from the Austin, Texas area. I have just purchased a 68 Camaro. 427/TH400/Ford 9". It has a radical, custom hood that is similar to the 2nd generation Vette hood. Looks really nice but is currently setup for strip racing (High in the back, low in the front, needs suspension work REAL bad). I plan on converting it to Pro Touring, all of my friends have directed me to this site. Ya'll have notoriety. I have always wanted a Camaro...

Looks good. Keep the hood, and bring it down. That's gonna be a fun car. Oh yeah, welcome to the site.

Looks good and like a great platform to start with...wheels, tires, brakes, and some suspension parts and you'll be driving a completely different car!!

Oh and most of all welcome to the site/family!!!

The hood is called a stinger hood and is hard to find (even the repos) for a first gen. I love that hood on the car, don't ever get rid of it. If you do, call me first ;)
