Miller Syncrowave 200 OR Lincoln Precision 225????

I've decided to buy a new TIG welder, but I'm having a hard time between the two. I've always, used Miller, but the Lincoln seems to be a great machine. This will be used for fabrication on my cars, nothing too crazy, mainly hobby welding. I just want to explore something other than MIG for a change. Let me know your thoughts.

i have a lincoln 185 tig and a miller 250 syncrowave, both are great for what there intended to do, i have never had an issue with either, but generally find more tech support and repair centers for miller.

I've only ever owned Lincoln welders, but my next TIG machine will be a big Miller. They have more features per dollar, and Lincoln's selling point of having the sturdiest and highest quality chassis doesn't mean that much to me, since I don't weld every day anyway.

Lincoln's Tig machine are awesome. But god forbid you need a part the wait will 2-4 weeks.Miller tig parts would be shipped in 2-4 days max.I have Both & they weld great. But when it's time to service them miller's get fixed quicker.Good luck.

I'm now a Miller man. Sold my Lincoln and bought a new Dynasty 200 DX.
