69 camaro covan dash vent install

Just received a new dash cluster from the new covan thunder road line. It looks ok but I am alittle upset that for the money spent it doesn't have the openings for the a/c vent or the control head like they are pictured on the website. This wouldn't be to much of a issue to cut the opening out but my main concern is there is no tabs to bolt the parts to even if you do cut out the openings. Pretty upsetting when you spend a good chunk and still end up waiting over a month for it and now have to figure out how to open the spots without damaging it and figuring out a way to mount the parts without any extra material to screw into without going all the way threw. Anybody have any pics on how they made it work cause I am so bummed out that I can't even come up with a solution.

Have you been able to get something figured out? Any pics you can post?
I have a 69 Firebird, and I am considering a Covans Thunder Road - thoughts?

Ya, I have one on my 69. It had the gauge holes & ac controller/vent already cut out. Scott
