      Speedtech's new Nova

      ResurreXion
this was an old Super Chevy Mag project car "No Bull Nova" that we picked up as the owner was not going to finish it.
we ended up redoing EVERYTHING to improve it.
the car is running a 6.0L Ls with a T56 and all our suspension.
full cage and all the track goodies, but also a full sound system for crusin, or if you want to pound some metal arround the autoX
just returned from the Super chevy handling Challenge and all went well.

Nice car Blake, the stance is killer...Did you have any rubbing issues on the front fender..Did the 1.5 camber do the trick?

I still can't believe how quickly you got this thing done...

Looks great. I would also love to see interior pics (regarding the stereo install stuff) and information on the tire/wheel combo and sizing.

      Stance is perfect!

Absolutley no rubbing issues we have the alignment set at -2.0 camber +3/16 toe out and 4.5 caster and there is no problem
the turning radius is still OK i assume that is what they put reverse in the trans for???

there are a bunck of build pics on our site and on the speedtech facebook site.

Thanks, I appriciate that. It's not bad for a low buck street car, but it pales in comparison to yours.

Beside all the trick stuff you have on there, the paint on that thing is about a mile deep.

It's a great car Blake. Like Frank, I like your sense of build style.

I too about fell into the paint. It's that nice.

well thanks guys, and to think that it was a last minute descission to change the color it was going to be white with the grey and then i started looking arround at all the black the shop truck the delivery van the GN the .... so we decided to do it black. i think it turnd out well , i could spend another 40 hours on the end of a piece of 2000 grit and the polisher but after seeing the abuse it is going to get on the autoX i doubt there is much point making it a show finish. already had to buff out about 6 cone scuffs lol

like Frank said you gotta love the thrash build that works out in the end.
i started this build on May 13 (this year) and had it in the trailer going to the GoodGuys show on August 24
the car was completly apart and sand blasted had to remove the existing cage and subframe connectors and redo them as they were not up to standard, cut the entire tunnel out and made a new one raising it 5" in the rear.
the car has no body mounts in it and the motor has been moved back 2".
it obviously runs our Speedtech Subframe and Torque Arm suspension. the only upgrade we made to the suspension from the box was double adjustable QA1 shocks.
the motor is a 6.0L iron block LS with a Magnum t56 i put in a Sheetmetal 9" with aluminum center and 3.89 gears.

The car is so awesome to drive on the freeway i drove it from Redding CA to pleasenton that was the "Test Drive" 240 miles 21MPG and just fun to drive 80 mph @ 2100rpm 1000 watts driving 2 10 subs and another 400 for the other speakers, CRANK IT UP and GIVE ER!

Dude--you are the reason I want to live in Canada---LOL. I am really pumped about SEMA this year---which cars are you going to bring---tell me it's Roger's car and this Nova please. This one came out so amazing--especially stance and color----dying to see them both.
