What motor, front end accessory drive is that? Looks like a vette setup but I noticed the radiator hose outlet is on the driver side. I was going to ask if mechanical clutch but I see the resevoir for a hydraulic unit in place. Nice job, wish I could move that fast. Looking forward to updates.

So who gets the spare parts? That ought to add some speed to someones car. Well maybe not the bad shifting trans... Course, that might be a plot point

Look, you have the engine out of Marys car! You get the transmission too. Whisper, whisper, chuckle.

I feel so much better not being the only one full of useless knowledge.....

I have no problem getting my butt handed to me by a lady (especially one as nice as Mary) but my pride would be a bit dented if it were a pink Camaro. To get beat by a Pink car is like to have a 4 door mom moblie run autocross faster than my ride......oh wait that has happened too. Beside Mary has to much good taste to paint that killer a sissie color.

Mary, Steve, Cris, or anyone else that may know...

Has anyone installed and confirmed that a T56 Magnum will install in a 2nd gen without banging/cutting/moving the tunnel? I don't remember seeing an install into a 2nd gen yet, but it's possible I just missed it...

Thanx, look forward to seeing this come together...

With the crossmember in the "stock" positing the shifter hole in the Magnum is tight to the trans tunnel.

So, to keep the trans where it is the tunnel would have to be raised just a bit (and inch?). Or you could lower the trans a bit by dropping the crossmember a bit or by "thining" the trans mount.

The Magnum definetly takes up more space than the T56, but the issue is pretty much in the shifter area.
